That is why S2 starts with the building and the use. A beautiful concept that cannot be permitted, mounted, powered, serviced, or updated is not a finished sign solution.

Measure and approve

Field conditions are verified. Concepts, landlord criteria, engineering, and permits are resolved where required.

Build and test

Components are fabricated, finished, assembled, wired where applicable, and checked before leaving the shop.

HDU can create a market that flat panels and separate letters cannot.

High-density urethane is one of the most flexible materials for carved, beveled, sculpted, and sandblasted-look signs. It machines cleanly, does not rot like wood, accepts paint well, and can combine raised copy, recessed backgrounds, borders, textures, and dimensional shapes in one composition.

It is especially useful for restaurants, churches, hospitality, residential communities, developments, traditional property identification, and custom monument faces. S2 can design and machine HDU as a complete sign or combine it with metal, posts, lighting, and other fabricated elements.

What does “custom sign” mean at S2?

It means the sign is planned around the building, brand, viewing conditions, material, mounting method, approval path, and expected lifespan rather than selected from a fixed catalog. Some projects use familiar products such as dimensional letters or ACM panels; others combine several materials and fabrication methods.

Do I need to know which product I want?

No. Tell us the address, what the sign needs to accomplish, your approximate budget, and when you need it. S2 can translate that information into the most practical product direction.

Can one project include several sign types?

Yes. A new tenant may need building letters, a monument or pylon panel, door graphics, suite identification, interior wayfinding, and temporary opening signage. Coordinating those pieces together usually produces a cleaner result.

Does S2 handle sign permits?

Yes. S2 prepares and submits sign-permit applications where required, coordinates landlord or property approvals, and works with an engineering firm when stamped structural or footing drawings are needed.

Which materials does S2 work with most often?

Common materials include aluminum, stainless steel, brass, bronze, copper, acrylic, ACM, polycarbonate, PVC, coroplast, MDO plywood, vinyl films, LEDs, and structural steel or aluminum where the sign system requires them.

Can S2 build carved or sandblasted-look signs?

Yes. High-density urethane, or HDU, machines cleanly and is well suited to carved relief, beveled lettering, sculpted backgrounds, traditional property signs, churches, restaurants, developments, and custom monument faces.

Does S2 install the signs it builds?

Yes. S2 handles field measurement, fabrication, installation, and applicable permit work. Electrical building-side work such as new branch circuits, breakers, and final power termination is coordinated with a licensed electrician.

What kinds of work are not a fit?

S2 does not offer vehicle wraps, promotional products, commodity print-only shopping, traditional glass-neon repair, beer-sign service, or whole-building interior-lighting packages. The focus is commercial signs, graphics, exterior lighting, and related fabrication and installation.
